Give a coherent explanation

Whether it was layoffs, contract roles, or a deliberate strategy to build breadth, explain the pattern clearly and pivot to why this role represents a stable, longer-term fit.

Group the moves into a narrative

Instead of explaining each job change individually, look for the through-line — "early on I moved a few times to build breadth across functions; now I'm looking for a role where I can go deep and stay" — and lead with that framing.

If some moves were involuntary

It's fine to be factual about layoffs or company closures — those are common and rarely held against you on their own. What interviewers are really listening for is whether you seem to leave roles by choice repeatedly for the same underlying reason.
