Tell Me About a Time You Took a Risk

TL;DR: Choose a calculated risk with a clear rationale, not recklessness.

Show your reasoning, not just the leap

Explain what informed the decision — data, experience, stakeholder input — so the risk reads as thoughtful, not impulsive.

Be honest about the outcome

If it didn't fully pay off, that's fine — explain what you learned. A risk that worked out perfectly every time can sound implausible.
