The Green Technology Group, LLC (TGTG) is seeking an Experienced, Full-Time System Administrator to support their Guest Wireless Service delivery program for Federal and Commercial Markets. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of Wi-Fi systems, from on-site physical installation and configuration to remote monitoring, security, and customer support.

  • Location: Remote
  • Work Type: Full Time
  • Travel: Up to 25% nationwide for on-site work.
  • Security: Ability to obtain and maintain at a minimum Public Trust government clearance.

Essential Duties: Wi-Fi Lifecycle, Support, and Project Management

This position is highly hands-on, requiring a blend of technical expertise, customer service, and project coordination.

  • Installation & Configuration: Responsible for Guest Wi-Fi systems installation, specification determination, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and administration.
  • On-Site Support (25% Travel): Travel to support on-site installation of network hardware, conduct testing, adjust configurations, produce heat maps, complete surveys, and update documentation.
  • Customer Support: Answer incoming customer support calls, triage and resolve issues, and record actions. Create, track, and resolve service desk action items.
  • Project Management & Compliance: Support IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with contract terms. Maintain the security and stability of network solutions.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Produce detailed technical project documentation, meeting materials, analysis, and reports. Create and maintain network documentation, hardware inventories, KPIs, and metrics data.

Required Qualifications: Wireless & Government Experience

The ideal candidate has proven experience managing wireless networks and is familiar with the necessary federal IT standards and security clearances.

  • Experience: 3–5 years in operations and maintenance of systems and networks, specifically with installing, monitoring, and maintaining wireless networks.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain at a minimum Public Trust government clearance.
  • Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to rapidly prioritize competing requirements; strong problem-solving approach.
  • Desired Qualifications (Preferred):
