Web Developer (Hybrid, Albany, New York)
A contact in our network has shared an opening for a Web Developer at a public sector organization that provides essential support for health and human services. This is a minimum 12-month contract position with a hybrid work model, based in Albany, New York. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Drupal websites, ensuring they are not only functional but also accessible, user-friendly, and responsive. This role requires a blend of front-end and back-end development skills, with a strong focus on the Drupal platform. Key Responsibilities and Technical Expertise

Essential Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned Web Developer with a proven track record of success on the Drupal platform. The position has a minimum experience requirement, so please ensure you meet the following criteria before applying:
- Drupal Module Development: You must have a minimum of 64 months of experience in custom Drupal module development, including hands-on experience with modules, features, and themes.
- Platform Experience: At least 48 months of experience working with Acquia, SearchStax, and SOLR.
- Standard Drupal Modules: Extensive knowledge of standard Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, and Panels, with a strong ability to extend them through custom code.
- Front-End Skills: A minimum of 64 months of experience in HTML5, CSS3, and SASS, with a specific focus on responsive design and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
- Back-End Skills: A minimum of 64 months of programming experience with PHP and JavaScript/jQuery.
This is a long-term contract opportunity with the potential for engagement beyond the initial 12-month period.
