​Resultant, an outcomes-focused consulting firm, is seeking a Systems Administrator to join its Managed Services team. This role is responsible for delivering technical solutions and providing exceptional support to diverse clients, acting as the primary administrator for their internal systems and infrastructure.

  • Location: Remote in US (Employees can work remotely)
  • Experience: 4–6 years as a Systems Administrator.
  • Department: Managed Services (MS_Service Delivery Team)
  • Focus: Client support, managing security, integrity, and operational efficiency across a client’s entire IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and remote access systems.

​Key Responsibilities: Client Operations and Security

​The Systems Administrator must manage all aspects of a client’s core internal systems, ensuring high security and operational reliability.

  • Client Support & Escalation: Provide amazing support to clients, managing assigned operational and project commitments. Escalate customer support requirements as appropriate, communicating criticality and confirming acceptance.
  • Security Management: Manage the integrity and security of clients’ data, servers, and software. Ensure all machines are protected and properly updated with Endpoint Security, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Anti-Spyware, etc.
  • Core Systems Management: Manage clients’ primary internal systems, including email and file sharing (Office 365, SharePoint).
  • Infrastructure Management: Implement and maintain Remote Access Systems (VPN, RDS, Citrix, VMware). Maintain domain policies, DNS, DHCP, and other integrated systems.
  • Documentation and Accountability: Keep client documentation up-to-date and accurate, along with detailed notes/updates in help desk tickets. Daily time keeping is a critical responsibility.
  • On-Call Support: Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as necessary.

​Required Technical Skills: Broad Infrastructure Expertise

​The role requires strong troubleshooting abilities and hands-on experience across servers, networking, and applications.

  • Experience: 4–6 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Associate Level Certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Server Skills: Active Directory, Domain, SSL Certificate, Backups, Antivirus.
  • Network Skills: Firewalls, Switches, Wireless, Voice, DHCP, TCP/IP, DNS, Routing.
  • Applications: Office 365, SharePoint.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot problems. Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
