Oracle is seeking a Systems Administrator 1 to join the Oracle Health & Analytics team, focusing on product development, operations, and services within Federal environments. This role is critical for the implementation, support, monitoring, and maintenance of Oracle’s solutions, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and patient safety.

- Experience: 0 to 2+ years (Seeking over 1+ years) working with Windows, Unix/Linux Servers and system administration.
- Clearance: Must be a US Citizen to obtain and maintain a required federal security clearance.
- Focus: Production operations, service account management, OS patching, vulnerability management, cyber security, and system performance tuning in a large-scale Federal setting.
Key Responsibilities: Operations, Cyber Security, and Maintenance
The Systems Administrator will perform daily operational tasks and contribute to the stability and integrity of critical systems.
- Daily Operations & Monitoring: Perform daily system operations tasks to verify system integrity and availability. Implement monitoring for applications and servers, and respond to alarms in a timely manner.
- Infrastructure Management: Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware/OS upgrades, and resource optimization. Deploy physical and virtual servers.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Responsible for vulnerability management, service account management, and completing cyber validation and checklists to maintain cyber posture.
- Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Complete assigned incident management tasks and perform root cause analysis for incidents in a production environment by analyzing system logs and performance metrics.
- Technical Support: Provide Tier III and other support per service request. Deploy, set up, and maintain testing environments.
- Scripting & Automation: Ability to understand and debug scripts such as Unix shell scripts, Windows PowerShell, Perl, and Python from a support perspective.
Required Background and Technical Requirements
- Experience: Seeking over 1+ years of experience working with Windows and Unix/Linux Servers and system administration.
- Technical Focus: Must have a background in Cyber Security, Networking, and Server Configurations.
- Troubleshooting: Experience in performing root cause analysis for incidents and problems in a production environment.
- Availability: Willing to work additional or irregular hours, including on-call responsibilities.
- Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance.
