This Senior Support Engineer role is a high-level functional and technical position focused on the SAP FI/CO (Finance and Controlling) ecosystem. Unlike traditional help desk roles, you will be performing deep-level ABAP debugging, developing break-fixes for critical defects, and managing mission-critical tax and regulatory localizations for Fortune 500 clients.

• ​Compensation: $120,000 – $190,000 USD

• ​Experience: 10+ years in SAP (specifically FI/CO); 5+ years in end-user support.
• ​Core Tech: SAP ECC, SAP 4.x, ABAP (Debug), FSCM, TRM, Localization (US/Canada).

​Global Financial Operations & Localization

​You will manage complex financial processes including Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) and Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM). A critical part of this role involves ensuring compliance with US and Canadian tax laws (e.g., 1099 reporting). You must understand how localization architecture affects global implementations across different SAP releases.

​Technical Deep Dives & ABAP Debugging

​This is a “hands-on” technical role. When standard functional troubleshooting isn’t enough, you will use ABAP Debugging to step through code, identify the root cause of application failures, and develop proprietary break-fixes. You will also create scripts to correct data inconsistencies in highly configured, multi-module environments.

​Strategic Advisory & Account Management

​As a Senior Engineer, you will act as a technical advisor for key assigned accounts. You will bridge the gap between business change and software stability, providing implementation advice and best practices for client-specific customizations. This role requires a 24x7x365 proactive mindset to support “always-on” global enterprises.
