Sr. IT Program Manager (Remote, US)
A new opportunity has emerged in our network for a Sr. IT Program Manager at a leader in the healthcare technology sector. This is a 6-month remote contract, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time position. In this highly visible and impactful role, you will be a key player in the company’s IT department, leading large-scale infrastructure and system upgrade projects. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, skilled leader with a proven track record in managing complex technical migrations.
This position is for an experienced program manager who can lead a critical, end-to-end upgrade of Microsoft Dynamics CRM from version 8 to version 9. This is a significant undertaking that requires you to ensure a seamless transition with minimal disruption to business operations. Your responsibilities will span both the technical and managerial aspects of the project. You’ll oversee the entire infrastructure setup, which includes servers, databases, and parallel system environments, all of which are essential for a successful upgrade.
Key Responsibilities and Required Skills
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- End-to-End Upgrade Leadership: You will lead the entire process of upgrading Microsoft Dynamics CRM, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.
- Infrastructure Management: You’ll oversee the technical infrastructure setup, including servers and databases, to support the upgrade.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration: You’ll partner with vendors on code remediation and technical support, while also managing changes in CRM interfaces, DevOps, and automation processes.
- System Integration: You will coordinate all CRM integrations with internal systems, third-party providers, and client-specific ecosystems to maintain data flow and reporting continuity.
To be successful, you must have proven experience managing large-scale CRM upgrades or implementations, with a strong preference for Microsoft Dynamics CRM. You’ll need a solid background in technical migrations and infrastructure projects, along with expertise in project management methodologies. Hands-on experience with system integrations involving data warehouses, portals, and third-party applications is also a key requirement.
