Senior Strategy Consultant – Digital Commerce

Vaimo, a global full-service digital experience agency specializing in digital commerce, is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Strategy Consultant to spearhead the eCommerce strategy and growth initiatives for its most prestigious clients. This role combines high-level strategic leadership with mandatory hands-on delivery and execution within complex digital transformations.

This is a full-time, Fully Remote position, available to candidates in the Tampa or Fort Lauderdale areas (though the role is remote, it aligns with a U.S. presence). This is a Senior-level role within the Commercial Department.


Role Overview and Strategic Mandate

The ideal candidate will translate complex business goals into executable digital strategies, serving as the primary relationship builder with senior client stakeholders. A core requirement is the ability to actively step in and contribute to the execution of deliverables to ensure speed and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive eCommerce strategies, aligning digital initiatives with overall business objectives to drive growth and innovation.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders to deliver tailored strategic solutions.
  • Hands-On Delivery: Contribute directly to client work by auditing site performance, configuring platform features, building dashboards, or running conversion experiments to accelerate time-to-value.
  • Oversight & Direction: Oversee specialized project teams (Solution Consultants, UX/UI Designers, Insights Teams), providing clear direction and stepping in to produce critical deliverables or unblock issues.
  • Consultative Expertise: Provide expert advice on best practices in e-commerce, including digital marketing, user experience, platform selection, data analytics, and conversion optimization.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to measure success, continuously refining strategies to improve KPIs such as conversion rates, customer retention, and revenue growth.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Vaimo as a thought leader in the e-commerce space by participating in industry events and contributing to publications.

Key Requirements and Consultant Profile

This role demands a minimum of seven years of experience, emphasizing the ability to not just design strategy but to actively contribute to the execution and delivery process.

  • Experience (Mandatory):
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in eCommerce consulting, with a focus on strategy and growth, and demonstrable hands-on delivery.
    • Experience leading strategy on high-profile clients and complex digital transformations.
  • Expertise:
    • Extensive knowledge of eCommerce platforms, digital marketing, data analytics and AI, and customer experience optimization.
    • Strong client management skills and proven ability to build trust with senior stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Communication:
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and mentoring cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and demonstrate the ROI of digital initiatives.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
