An opportunity has come through our network for a Senior QA Analyst at a prominent technology organization. This is a 3-month contract position with the potential to make a significant impact on a team that is at the heart of machine learning and AI initiatives. As part of the Product Data Operations (PDO) team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and integrity of data that powers the company’s cutting-edge products. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in data analysis and a passion for continuous improvement.

This role is a blend of quantitative analysis and strategic collaboration. You will be tasked with applying your expertise to formulate deep-level insights from large and complex datasets. Your work will directly help identify trends and opportunities that drive business growth and improve overall project performance. This isn’t a role where you just test; you will be actively involved in shaping strategy and providing a clear narrative around data quality to inform and influence stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities and Technical Skills

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Quantitative Analysis: You’ll leverage your expertise in quantitative and statistical analysis to uncover deep insights that drive business growth.
  • Data Visualization: You will design and create high-performance data visualizations that tell a clear story and allow for deeper, interactive exploration.
  • In-Depth Investigation: You will conduct investigations using large and complex datasets to inform, influence, and execute new strategies.
  • Data Quality Narrative: You will build a narrative around data quality, providing critical insights that will help improve project performance.
  • Collaboration: You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Data Science, and Product teams to solve complex problems at scale.

To be successful, you must have a degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in an analyst role. Proficiency in database querying language, specifically SQL, and a programming language like Python for data processing and analysis are essential. You should also have advanced experience with spreadsheet tools like Excel and Google Sheets. While not required, experience in data quality and data annotation is preferred.
