Senior Manager, IT Performance
A leadership opportunity is available for a Senior Manager, IT Performance, to lead a team dedicated to enhancing IT effectiveness and demonstrating business value across the organization. This strategic role is accountable for setting performance goals, driving automation, and operationalizing the three-year IT roadmap.
The compensation range is $110,800.00 – $193,800.00 annually, plus potential performance bonuses.
Role Summary and Strategic Value Mandate
This Senior Manager will serve as a key partner to IT leadership and cross-functional departments, translating IT initiatives into measurable business value. A significant part of the role involves implementing a data-driven culture, leading high-level strategy discussions, and driving IT maturity using frameworks like Gartner Maturity Assessments.
Essential Functions
- Performance Strategy & Metrics: Collaborate with IT leadership to establish clear performance goals and metrics that align with strategic objectives. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for tracking and analyzing IT performance that drives business value.
- Executive Leadership & Reporting: Lead and facilitate executive-level meetings to discuss performance metrics and strategic initiatives. Prepare and present regular reports on IT performance and create ad hoc reports to support leadership decision-making.
- Roadmap & Maturity: Spearhead the operationalization and communication of the three-year IT Roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Lead and facilitate Gartner Maturity Assessments to evaluate current IT capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
- Automation & Efficiency: Oversee the automation of the ServiceNow time tracking setup, identifying efficiencies that enhance demand and capacity management reporting, and streamline the end-of-month financial cycle.
- Team Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the team, mentoring and supporting the professional development of team members.
Required Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate is an experienced IT and business analysis leader with strong managerial skills, executive maturity, and a proven track record of implementing data-driven IT reporting programs.
- Experience (Required):
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in IT and/or business analysis, demonstrating a strong understanding of IT operations and performance management.
- Minimum of three (3) years of management experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Power BI experience is required. Proficient in implementing and managing IT-wide reporting and analytics programs.
- Leadership & Acumen: Executive maturity and an ability to work effectively with senior executives. Collaborative managerial skills with exceptional analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic Knowledge: Familiarity with IT implementation projects and IT strategy formulation is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Results-oriented with a strong track record of success. Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
