​This is a full-time, remote (USA) Senior Data Analyst role at Quantiphi, an award-winning Applied AI and Big Data software and services company. This senior position requires deep domain expertise in the (Re)insurance industry combined with advanced technical skills in data modeling, ETL pipeline development, and business intelligence reporting. The analyst is expected to provide technical leadership and influence strategic initiatives.

  • Location: Remote, USA.
  • Experience Level: 7+ years of experience in data analysis and data management.
  • Domain Experience (Required): 4+ years of experience in the (Re)insurance domain across US P&C, International Markets, and Life, Accident & Health.
  • Focus: Designing/maintaining data models and ETL workflows (SSIS, Python, Databricks), developing BI dashboards (Power BI, SQL, Spark), and managing large-scale data systems within the insurance sector.

​Roles and Responsibilities: Leadership, Modeling, and Data Engineering

​The Senior Data Analyst leads complex data management initiatives and provides technical guidance while working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Data Management Leadership: Lead data management initiatives across diverse (Re)insurance segments. Perform advanced data analysis and manage large-scale data systems to support business decision-making.
  • ETL and Modeling: Design, develop, and maintain data models, ETL workflows, and data processing pipelines using SSIS, Python, Databricks, and related technologies.
  • BI and Reporting: Develop dashboards, reports, and insights using Power BI, SQL, Spark, and other BI tools.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to drive data-driven solutions. Influence stakeholders and contribute effectively to strategic initiatives.
  • Team Guidance: Provide technical leadership within the data team, fostering collaboration and guiding junior team members.
  • Documentation: Ensure high-quality documentation for data analysis, data management, and reporting processes.

​Required Skills and Qualifications

​The successful candidate must possess a blend of extensive technical expertise in the data stack and specific, required knowledge of the insurance industry.

  • Domain Expertise: 4+ years of experience in the (Re)insurance domain across US P&C, International Markets, and Life, Accident & Health.
  • Core Technical Expertise:
    • Strong expertise with business intelligence and query tools: Power BI, SQL, Spark.
    • Solid understanding of data modelling and data processing frameworks such as SSIS, Python, and Databricks.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in data analysis and data management.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership qualities, proven ability to work independently with limited oversight, exceptional analytical and critical-thinking skills, and excellent documentation, written, verbal, and presentation capabilities.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
