Gen3 Technology Consulting (a Woman-Owned Small Business) is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to provide expertise and senior-level consulting to Federal Prison Industries (FPI/UNICOR). The role is focused on the migration and maintenance of the S/4HANA system and its server architecture within a Windows and Amazon cloud environment, while ensuring stringent security controls, particularly regarding inmate access.

• Location: Remote, US (Hiring focus in 20 specified states).
• Level: Mid-Level (Functioning as a senior consultant).
• Focus: S/4HANA, Cloud Migration, SAP Basis Security, and STIG Compliance.

Key Responsibilities: Administration, Security, and Project Leadership

The administrator will provide hands-on technical support, strategic advice, and project management expertise for the entire SAP landscape.

• S/4HANA Management: Provide SAP Basis administration assistance for both the current SAP ECC system and the upgraded S/4 HANA system.
• Security & Compliance: Assist with securing inmate access in the SAP environment. Requires a working knowledge of STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) for a SAP HANA database.
• Project & Strategy: Provide project management expertise and senior-level consulting in SAP Basis administration. Research and plan the new system development lifecycle for S/4HANA.
• Integration & Configuration: Assist with SAP Basis configuration of SAP ERP systems and management of third-party interfaces (OpenText, ShipERP, PBS archiving).
• Knowledge Transfer: Provide guidance, training, and knowledge transfer to current FPI staff on a regular schedule.

Minimum Qualifications: Specialized Federal Experience Required

This role requires a highly specific mix of SAP, project management, and government security experience, with the technical knowledge to stand up a HANA system.

• SAP Basis Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an SAP Basis resource.
• Consulting & Installation: Minimum of two (2) years of experience consulting as an SAP Basis Administrator with knowledge of a fresh install of a Linux-based HANA database.
• Configuration & Project Management: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in both project management and SAP configuration.
• Security & Cloud: Minimum of one (1) year of experience assisting with securing inmate access in the SAP landscape (including the upgraded HANA system in a Cloud environment).
• Compliance: A working knowledge of STIGs for a SAP HANA database is required.
• Clearance Eligibility: Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder and meet residency requirements to be eligible for a government security investigation.
