​Varian Medical Systems is looking for a hybrid-remote Project Manager to bridge the gap between Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Advanced Data Analytics. This role is embedded in the Plan & Materials organization, focusing on digital transformation and process optimization using SAP data to drive visibility, inventory health, and planning accuracy.

​Supply Chain Data Engineering & Visualization

​You will lead cross-functional initiatives to convert complex SAP data (MM, PP, MRP) into actionable insights. This involves designing and automating data pipelines and reporting workflows to ensure real-time decision-making. You will be the architect behind dynamic dashboards in Power BI or Qlik Sense that track inventory health, material availability, and supplier performance.

​SAP Optimization & Process Improvement

​A deep technical understanding of SAP modules (MM, PP, MRP) is essential. You will analyze Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Bill of Materials (BOM) management to identify operational gaps. By establishing strong data governance practices within SAP and platforms like Snowflake or HANA, you will standardize workflows and implement scalable solutions to enhance material flow.

​Digital Transformation & Predictive Analytics

​Beyond standard reporting, you will champion a culture of data literacy. This includes driving continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies. High-level candidates will also explore the deployment of Machine Learning or AI models to transition the supply chain from reactive reporting to predictive and prescriptive analytics.
