Community Health Systems (CHS) is hiring a Manager, EHR IT Revenue Cycle Services to join their EHR Team. This role is responsible for leading all EHR Revenue Cycle and Technical Financial Teams, managing complex technical projects, and defining the strategic technology roadmap for these critical systems.

This is a full-time position in the United States.

Role Summary and EHR Financials Leadership

This Manager will oversee the technical components of the Cerner system and related Patient Financials teams. The role requires a highly independent leader capable of navigating ambiguity, managing concurrent complex projects with a high degree of variability, and serving as a key escalation point for technical issues and risks in the EHR Revenue Cycle space.

Essential Functions:

• Team & Strategy Management: Define strategy and the technology roadmap for EHR Revenue Cycle, in order to direct and manage a team of associates responsible for delivering the technical aspects of implementation projects.
• Project & Risk Oversight: Manage complex technical projects that require significant influence to achieve targeted outcomes. Design, build, and maintain complex technical project plans, and act as an escalation point for technical issues and risks.
• Stakeholder Consultation: Consult with internal project teams, Business Partners, and organizational teams to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines, and verify configuration requests.
• Technical Expertise & Discovery: Facilitate and direct technical discovery sessions and provide expertise based on the specific environment. Must be able to break down complex situations and communicate them effectively to both internal and external teams.
• Operational Independence: Work independently with little supervision and be able to prioritize and manage concurrent projects while working with ambiguity.

Required Experience and Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a seasoned healthcare IT professional with extensive experience in consulting, deep functional knowledge of the EHR Revenue Cycle, and a proven track record of managing technical teams and complex projects.

• Experience (Required):
  • At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education.
  • At least 6 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, and/or other client-facing or IT solution work experience.
  • At least 5 years managing complex teams and direct reports.
  • At least 8 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Healthcare, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8 years’ experience working with EHR Revenue Cycle Teams.
• Experience with HL7 standards.
• Experience with Financial Reporting.
• Deep knowledge of Revenue Cycle Business Processes.
