TRACTIAN, a company transforming the industrial maintenance world with combined hardware and software platforms, is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Demo) to join its global Go-To-Market (GTM) Engineering team. This role is pivotal in owning and scaling the technical infrastructure that powers product demonstrations for customers.

This is a Full-time, Remote position, with the location posted as Atlanta, GA.

Core Mandate: Demo Infrastructure as a Full-Stack Product

You will operate as a full-stack engineer, ensuring the demo environments are realistic, reliable, and scalable to directly enable the sales teams to win deals. Essentially, you build the systems that showcase the magic.

• Design & Build: Design and build the backend and frontend systems that power Tractian’s demos, including APIs, data pipelines, and databases.
• Data Generation: Build tools and scripts to simulate real-world scenarios and generate realistic data for the demo environments.
• Uptime & Reliability: Own the uptime and reliability, monitoring and optimizing demo environment performance for sales calls, trade shows, and executive presentations.
• Internal Tooling: Build internal APIs, dashboards, and admin tools that allow Account Executives (AEs) and Sales Engineers (SEs) to easily deploy, reset, or configure demo environments on demand.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Sales, and Engineering to ensure the demo stack incorporates the latest features and accurately reflects production environments.
• Documentation: Maintain strong documentation and version control of demo assets, infrastructure configurations, and deployment scripts for reproducibility.

Required Experience and Technical Stack

The role requires a strong full-stack background with experience translating complex technical systems into scalable, repeatable demo processes.

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in Demo Engineering or a relevant software engineering role.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Technical Stack: Experience with:
  • ReactJS
  • NodeJS
  • Typescript
  • Non-relational databases like MongoDB or ScyllaDB.
• Process & Enablement:
  • Experience in training and enabling sales teams on how to deliver technical demos effectively.
  • Ability to create structured, repeatable demo processes that scale across global teams.
• Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with cross-functional stakeholders.
