We are seeking an experienced HRIS Systems Administrator to serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and primary administrator for two critical HR technology platforms: Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and UKG Pro Workforce Management. This role ensures both systems are configured, maintained, and utilized to their fullest potential to support organizational excellence.
- Location: Remote (Minimal periodic travel as needed).
- Job Type: Permanent, Full Time.
- Pay Rate: DOE (Dependent on Experience).
- Focus: Dual system administration, security, process optimization, and reporting across Workday and UKG Pro.
Key Responsibilities: Optimization, Security, and Reporting
The administrator will be the hands-on expert responsible for continuous improvement, support, and compliance across the HR technology landscape.
- Dual System Administration: Act as the primary administrator for Workday HCM and UKG Pro Workforce Management, ensuring efficient operation.
- Configuration & Enhancement: Configure and maintain system security, workflows, and business processes. Research, analyze, and implement system updates, enhancements, and new features.
- Technical Expertise: Strong expertise in designing and configuring solutions, including the ability to create and manage condition rules and calculated fields in both platforms.
- Support & Training: Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues for end-users. Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to enhance system adoption.
- Project Leadership: Lead and participate in projects related to HR technology implementations and upgrades, demonstrating proven ability to lead cross-departmental projects.
- Reporting & Compliance: Generate and analyze reports from both systems to provide actionable insights. Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications: Dual-System Experience
Success requires substantial experience with HRIS administration, particularly with the two specified enterprise systems.
- Experience (Total): A minimum of five years of experience as a system administrator for Workday HCM or similar products.
- UKG Pro: At least three years of experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management systems is preferred.
- Certifications (Required within 6-12 months): Ability to obtain Workday Pro Certification and/or UKG certifications.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in security administration, workflow optimization, and building advanced custom fields.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders and provide user support.
