As the Empower System Administrator, you will be the primary technical owner of the Mortgage Department’s Loan Origination System (LOS). This role is a blend of high-level business analysis and deep system configuration, ensuring that the Dark Knight/Empower SaaS platform is optimized to help members achieve financial success.

• ​Experience: 5–8 years in Empower system administration.
• ​Core Tech: Empower (LOS/POS), Orchestration Engine, AIVA, Wolters Kluwer.
• ​Focus: System Configuration, Workflow Design, and Mortgage Process Optimization.

​Empower LOS Configuration & Workflow Design

​You will be responsible for the end-to-end configuration of the Empower LOS, including managing Mapping Trees, the Workflow Designer, and the Orchestration Engine. Your goal is to ensure the system mirrors the real-world mortgage lifecycle—from origination to post-closing. You will also utilize the Migration Center to manage releases and ensure that system setups are consistent across environments.

​Integrations & Digital Mortgage Experience

​A significant part of this role involves managing the digital interface for both members and staff. You will oversee the Point of Sale (POS) portals for borrowers and loan officers and manage integrations through Exchange and APIs. This includes working with AIVA for AI-driven automation and reporting, as well as maintaining external service links to Optimal Blue for pricing and Wolters Kluwer for eClosing and documentation.

​Business Analysis & Project Leadership

​Acting as the subject matter expert (SME), you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. You will gather and document requirements, formulate use cases, and analyze how software upgrades will impact the mortgage department. This requires a strong understanding of task-based workflows and the ability to influence senior-level professionals to achieve agreement on complex system enhancements.
