An opportunity has emerged in our network for a DevOps Engineer to join the growing technology team at TPx. This is a full-time, fully remote position in the United States. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer focused on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and supporting infrastructure to streamline the software delivery process and improve system reliability.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $110,000–$120,000 + bonus.


Key Responsibilities and Automation Focus

This engineer will work closely with development, operations, and business teams to enhance overall operational efficiency, particularly through automation and configuration management.

  • CI/CD Pipeline Ownership: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications and environments, including SaaS platforms such as ServiceNow and Salesforce.
  • Automation & Configuration: Utilize Ansible for configuration management, automation, and deployment processes. Automate system configurations, application deployments, and routine operational tasks.
  • System Reliability: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure and application performance to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of production systems.
  • Container Support: Support containerized applications, with exposure to Kubernetes considered a plus.
  • Incident Response & Documentation: Participate in incident response to maintain uptime and reliability, and document DevOps processes, workflows, and system configurations.

Required Experience and Technical Skills

The position requires a solid foundation in DevOps principles, scripting, and hands-on experience with key automation tools.

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related role. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • CI/CD & Automation: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Configuration Management: Proficiency with Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation.
  • Containerization: Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker).
  • Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Web/Cloud: Experience with JavaScript, NodeJS, and TypeScript. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Process: Knowledge of version control systems (Git), branching strategies, and experience working in an Agile scrum environment.

Other highly beneficial qualifications include experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk), and familiarity with security best practices.
