CENTEGIX®, a leader in wearable safety technology for critical environments like healthcare and education, is looking for a DevOps Engineer. This role is critical for strengthening and scaling the CENTEGIX Safety Platform, ensuring it remains secure, reliable, and high-performing so its solutions perform flawlessly when every second matters.

This is a Full-time, Fully Remote position.


Purpose and Technical Mandate

This engineer plays a vital role in automating, securing, and optimizing the critical platform infrastructure, acting as the crucial bridge between software development and 24/7 operations.

  • Infrastructure Design: Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure on GCP and AWS (Multi-Cloud).
  • Container Orchestration: Develop and maintain Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Monitoring & Alerting: Monitor system health and performance using Grafana and other monitoring tools.
  • Automation & IaC: Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and maintenance tasks.
  • CI/CD: Utilize CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Reliability & Support: Troubleshoot and resolve system issues with minimal downtime. Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
  • Security: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Required Experience and Technical Stack

The role requires a mid-level engineer with a strong focus on containerization and public cloud architecture.

  • Experience: 3 – 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Cloud Platforms: Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
    • Preferred: Experience across both cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
  • Containerization: Proficiency in managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters.
    • Preferred: Kubernetes Certification.
  • Monitoring: Hands-on experience with Grafana for monitoring and alerting.
    • Preferred: Strong experience with logging and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo).
  • Automation: Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi).
  • Scripting: Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
