A contact in our network has shared an opening for a Data Quality Analyst – Kannada Language Specialist. This is a 6-month contract role for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who is a native Kannada speaker. The position is part of a Data Quality Analytics team that is focused on improving the quality of data for global products. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your language expertise to cutting-edge projects, including those related to AR/VR and avatar technologies.

The role is based on a hybrid schedule, requiring onsite presence from Tuesday to Thursday at either the Redmond, WA or Burlingame, CA locations, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. This offers a great blend of in-person collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. You will play a key part in enhancing user experiences worldwide by ensuring the accuracy and quality of Kannada-language data.

Core Responsibilities and Required Skills

Your primary responsibilities will include a mix of technical and analytical tasks:

• Guideline Development: You will author and refine guidelines for Kannada-language data collection and quality assurance audits, ensuring a clear and consistent process for all teams.
• Internal Research: You will conduct research studies involving Kannada-speaking participants, which includes sourcing participants, guiding them through procedures, and collecting data while strictly maintaining confidentiality.
• QA Audits and Reporting: You’ll perform weekly QA audits of Kannada-language data collected by internal and external teams. You will also be responsible for composing weekly reports that highlight trends and issues specific to this data, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
• Feedback and Collaboration: You will provide ongoing feedback to data collection teams to ensure that all Kannada data meets high-quality standards. This involves collaborating with various cross-functional teams to solve problems and drive improvements.

To be successful, you must have fluency in Kannada, both spoken and written. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who can manage their workload independently and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will also need strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities, along with proficiency in spreadsheet software like Google Sheets or Excel, including experience with formula writing.
