​This is a full-time, remote (United States) Data Analyst role at Clever, a venture-backed real estate technology company. This role, described as a Senior Data Analyst in the overview, will primarily support the marketing and public relations (PR) department by producing data-driven reports for public consumption. The analyst will also be key in internal analytics projects, focusing on residential real estate market trends, consumer finance, and building the internal analytics platform.

  • Location: Remote, United States.
  • Salary: $70,000 – $130,000.
  • Experience Required: 3+ years of data analysis experience, ideally in multiple industries.
  • Focus: Market research (surveys, custom trend analysis), public data reporting for PR/marketing, supporting non-data stakeholders, and contributing to data architecture discussions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with SQL, Python and/or R, and high proficiency with spreadsheets.

​Key Responsibilities: Public Insights and Platform Development

​The analyst will be instrumental in translating complex real estate data into accessible narratives for global readers while also enhancing internal data capabilities.

  • Marketing & Public Data Analysis: Develop key analyses for the marketing team, including running and analyzing surveys, developing custom analyses of market trends using internal and external data, and supporting outreach projects.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Help cross-functional teams maximize value from the internal analytics platform by effectively presenting data to non-data stakeholders.
  • Data Product Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into reliable data products.
  • Platform Evolution: Contribute to architecture discussions and help define the evolution of the data platform.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively propose alternative solutions, weighing risks and rewards thoughtfully.

​Qualifications and Technical Skills

​The role requires strong foundational technical skills in data manipulation and exceptional ability to communicate data insights clearly.

  • Experience: 3+ years of data analysis experience.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Proficiency with SQL, Python and/or R.
    • High proficiency with spreadsheets (v look ups, pivot tables).
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present clear, concise data summaries to non-technical audiences.
  • Nice to Have: Familiarity with Databricks.
