​This is a full-time, remote (USA) Data Analyst role in the Operations Department at Serve Robotics, a company pioneering autonomous last-mile delivery using sidewalk robots. The analyst will be a key member of the Analytics team, responsible for building reporting, uncovering operational insights, and acting as a strategic thought partner across the scaling business.

• ​Location: Remote, USA.
• ​Compensation: $98K – $119K plus equity.
• ​Experience Required: 4+ years of experience in an analytics role (startup or high-growth environment strongly preferred).
• ​Focus: Operational efficiency, delivery performance, A/B testing, and translating complex, sometimes messy, data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
• ​Industry Preference: Experience in logistics, marketplaces, or operations-heavy industries is preferred.

​Job Duties: Metric Ownership and Strategic Insight

​The analyst is expected to be an “owner, not a passenger,” defining success metrics and guiding crucial operations and product decisions within a fast-paced environment.

• ​Reporting & Dashboards: Build and maintain dashboards and models to improve visibility into operational efficiency, delivery performance, and topline metrics.
• ​Cross-Functional Insights: Partner with operations, engineering, and product teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
• ​Strategic Partner: Act as an analytics thought partner, translating complex findings into simple, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• ​Metric Ownership: Help define and track key business metrics, enabling data-driven strategy across teams.
• ​Problem-Solving: Source and transform data creatively, even when systems are incomplete. Propose solutions and tools to streamline workflows.

​Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

​The role requires strong proficiency in modern data tools, statistical methods, and the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment.

• ​Technical Proficiency:
  • ​Proficiency in SQL (4+ years) is mandatory.
  • ​Comfort with scripting in Python or R.
  • ​Strong data visualization skills using BI tools (they use ThoughtSpot and Looker Studio).
• ​Analytical Depth:
  • ​Experience with A/B testing, experimental design, and inferential statistics.
  • ​Knowledge of geospatial analysis techniques is a plus.
• ​Data Stack (Preferred): Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) and modern data governance practices is preferred.
• ​Environment: Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is strongly preferred. Proven ability to thrive on scrappy, fast-moving teams.
• ​Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Comfort leveraging AI/GenAI tools to enhance analytics workflows.
