AI, Automation, & Technology Manager, People Team
An opportunity is available for an AI, Automation, & Technology Manager to join the People Team at Tenstorrent, an industry leader developing cutting-edge AI technology, including high-performance RISC-V CPUs. This role is crucial for building the next generation of People Operations by using systems, data, and automation to enhance both the employee experience and internal operations.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Santa Clara, CA.
Role Summary and Automation Mandate
This manager is responsible for maintaining the core HR systems and strategically designing smarter processes and workflows. The core mandate is to drive automation and efficiency across the employee lifecycle, allowing the People Team to focus on strategic employee experience initiatives.
What You’ll Own
- HRIS Management: Manage the core HRIS, ensuring all people data is accurate, consistent, and accessible as a reliable source of truth.
- Automation & Workflow: Design and implement workflows and automations that significantly reduce friction in the employee lifecycle and eliminate repetitive tasks.
- System Expertise: Act as the go-to expert for new People Team modules and tools, such as performance management, engagement surveys, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strategic Alignment: Partner closely with IT, People Analytics, and Finance to ensure all systems and data are integrated to support critical decision-making and employee needs.
- Prioritization: Balance a wide scope of sometimes competing priorities with strong organization and judgment.
Required Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong HR systems and data management experience, and has a clear passion for leveraging automation and AI to improve operational efficiency.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in HRIS platforms and people data.
- HRIS Knowledge (Preferred): Experience with Rippling is preferred, and Workday is a plus.
- Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and structure data effectively.
- Mindset: Must possess a passion for automation, efficiency, and AI-driven improvements.
