Project Manager, Operations (Senior) – RevolutionParts (Remote)
RevolutionParts is a leader in automotive eCommerce, providing platforms that help brands and dealers maximize online parts sales. This Senior Project Manager role, situated within the Customer Experience and System Operations teams, is a high-visibility leadership position. You will act as the “Revolutionary” lead for strategic initiatives, ranging from Enterprise customer onboarding to new market launches and catalog enrichment projects.
- Location: Remote (United States)
- Experience: 7+ years in Technical PM; 5+ years in eCommerce delivery.
- Portfolio: Managing 5+ concurrent complex projects.
- Key Focus: Cross-functional leadership, enterprise migrations, and “High Altitude” communication.
Project Governance & Lifecycle Management
You will be responsible for building the frameworks that guide projects from conceptual design to launch. This includes creating and maintaining a full suite of PM artifacts: Project Charters, RACI charts, Risk Registers, and Status Reports. A unique part of this role involves collaborating with System Operations to consolidate PM software tools across the organization to reduce friction and “cycle time.”
Enterprise Customer & Platform Strategy
This role is deeply embedded in the Customer Experience. You will lead high-stakes eCommerce projects such as platform migrations and new store launches for Enterprise-level automotive brands. You must possess the “Leadership Gravitas” to influence external stakeholders on “what really matters” (Value) versus “what is nice to have” (Complexity), ensuring that technical constraints never derail business outcomes.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Mentorship
You will act as the bridge between Engineering, Product, and Business Development. The role requires extreme “context switching”—discussing technical specifications with developers one hour and business outcomes with C-suite executives the next. Additionally, you will lead and mentor junior Project Managers, defining team structures and resource plans to ensure professionally branded delivery.
Summary: You are the operational architect for RevolutionParts’ strategic growth. By leveraging data-driven decision-making and a deep understanding of the eCommerce lifecycle, you transform complex automotive challenges into streamlined digital solutions that drive revenue for the world’s largest automotive brands.
