AnewHealth, a leading pharmacy care management company specializing in chronic care, is seeking a Workday Financial Systems Administrator. This role will be the primary technical support resource and administrator for both the company’s Workday Financials and Workday Adaptive Planning systems, ensuring system optimization, compliance, and strong internal controls.

  • Location: NJ – Remote
  • Focus: Day-to-day administration, configuration, and optimization of Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning, with a focus on finance processes.

Key Responsibilities: Dual System Ownership and Process Optimization

The administrator is a technical expert who bridges the Accounting/Finance teams, ensuring the core ERP and planning systems are secure, integrated, and optimized for maximum value.

  • Workday Dual Administration: Administer, configure, and maintain both Workday Financials and Workday Adaptive Planning to support business requirements.
  • Release & Security: Lead semi-annual Workday Release activities. Administer and maintain Workday security by managing user roles, security groups, and permissions to ensure compliance.
  • Integration Management: Maintain and monitor integrations and APIs between Workday and external platforms (financial planning, close management, accounts payable automation, and banking).
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with core Accounting and Finance teams to uncover operational pain points, proactively identify areas for improvement, and design new system changes to meet operational needs for tracking key operational metrics.
  • Reporting: Design, create, and maintain Workday reports (matrix and advanced) and dashboards for financial and reporting needs.
  • M&A Support: Support special initiatives such as M&A activity with Workday data conversions, as needed.

Required Qualifications: Technical Depth and Finance Acumen

The ideal candidate must have a blend of extensive Workday configuration experience and a solid foundation in accounting principles.

  • Workday Experience: 5 – 7 years of configuration/administration experience in Workday and Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Module Configuration: Experience in configuring Workday security, workflows, reporting, integrations, and at least 2 financial modules (e.g., Accounting Center, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Cash Management, Expense Reporting).
  • Certifications (Preferred): Workday Pro Financials certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance processes.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving ability (including root cause analysis), and Agile project management skills to reprioritize based on frequently evolving needs.
