Nortal, a global technology consulting company, is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team and help deliver transformative digital solutions across various sectors. This role is focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust systems for seamless software delivery.

Core Responsibilities: IaC, Containers, and Automation

You will be instrumental in shaping the software development lifecycle, ensuring speed, scalability, and security across the cloud infrastructure. Basically, you’re the one who makes the developer’s dreams deployable.

• CI/CD: Designing and managing efficient Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance rapid software development cycles.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Driving cloud infrastructure management on platforms such as AWS/Azure, emphasizing scalability and resilience.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implementing and refining infrastructure-as-code with Terraform to maintain consistency and agility.
• Orchestration & Security: Ensuring robust orchestration practices and adhering to security best practices across all DevOps workflows and solutions.

Required Experience and Technical Stack

This position requires a mid-to-senior level engineer with a strong foundation in cloud services, Linux, and container technology.

• Experience: 4+ years of relevant technical experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related fields.
• Containerization: Proven expertise with containerization (OCI containers, Docker) and orchestration.
• Cloud Proficiency (AWS or Azure): Proficiency with AWS services (e.g., RDS, EKS, S3, IAM, Route53) OR Azure equivalent.
• Operating System & Scripting: Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
• IaC: Experience implementing infrastructure as code with Terraform (or similar tools).
• Networking: Solid grasp of networking concepts, including troubleshooting and traffic analysis.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD systems like BitBucket pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles.
• Experience with observability stacks such as LGTM (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir) or similar
