A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Contract Senior Epic Clin Doc Application Analyst to join their team. This role is focused on the application configuration and analysis within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system, specifically the Clinical Documentation (Clin Doc) module.

Please Note: This is NOT an IT System Administrator role.

This is a 4-month Contract, 100% Fully Remote position, with an hourly pay rate of $70/hr – $72.41/hr.

Role Summary and Epic Clin Doc Mandate

This analyst will serve as a critical resource for determining business requirements, performing system build and testing, and supporting the deployment of changes within the Epic EHR. The role requires deep clinical knowledge and specialized Epic certification.

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities):

• Requirements & Build: Work with business partners to determine requirements, and then perform building and testing within the Epic system.
• Support & Maintenance: Support questions that arise from the deployment of changes or making edits once deployed.
• Coordination: Coordinate the efforts of interdisciplinary groups involved in Epic implementations and changes.

Required and Desired Skills

The candidate must have specific Epic certification and a strong understanding of inpatient clinical workflows to succeed in this application-focused role.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Epic Certification: Epic certification in Clin Doc (Clinical Documentation) is mandatory.
• Experience Level: 3+ years of professional experience in Epic application analysis and build.
• Application Expertise: Exceptional application analysis and design skills, as well as thorough troubleshooting capabilities.
• Clinical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of clinical workflows in a hospital or surgical space (strong clinical knowledge of Inpatient workflows).
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skillset and ability to come up with creative solutions.
• Communication: Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and oral).

Desired Skills & Experience (Bonus):

• Additional Epic certification or build experience in other Epic modules such as Orders, Compass Rose, or HH/HO.
