This is a permanent, remote position focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level cloud-based systems and services, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. The role requires a strong focus on the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.

The posted pay rate for this role is $115,000.00.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Focus

This engineer will be crucial in developing, integrating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on automation and the Microsoft platform suite.

• Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and services tailored to enterprise needs.
• Administration & Troubleshooting: Manage and troubleshoot cloud environments, including serverless delivery systems and data recovery solutions. Administer virtual machines, operating systems, and integrations with third-party cloud platforms.
• Automation: Implement automation tools and service-based technologies to streamline processes and optimize system performance.
• Architecture & Optimization: Provide guidance and recommendations for improving cloud architecture and operational efficiency. Stay informed about emerging technologies to enhance functionality and security.
• Monitoring & Reliability: Monitor and maintain system health, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.

Required Experience and Technical Skills

The ideal candidate possesses deep, progressive experience in IT infrastructure, with specialized expertise in Microsoft Azure and related services.

• Experience: At least 7 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and cloud systems.
• Cloud Expertise: Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Office 365 platforms.
• Microsoft Tools: Hands-on experience with Conditional Access, Intune, and Microsoft Purview.
• Certification (Highly Preferred): Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification is highly preferred.
• Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of system and network infrastructure design, including servers and networking technologies.
• Architecture: Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-grade cloud architectures.
• General Skills: Proficiency in managing systems, storage solutions, and data backup tools.
