Program Manager (Hybrid, Charlotte, NC)
A contact in our network has shared an opening for a Program Manager at a leading financial services provider. This is a contract position for a seasoned professional to join the project management team and support various technology initiatives. The role is based in Charlotte, NC, with a required hybrid schedule of a minimum of three days per week in the office. This position is for an experienced and proactive problem-solver who can lead projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for establishing and managing projects to deliver desired business outcomes. The projects you will lead are diverse, ranging from application development to operational efficiency improvements, giving you a broad scope of work and a chance to make a significant impact on the organization. You will also be responsible for managing project financials, working closely with change management teams, and building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities and Required Skills
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Project Leadership: You will lead various projects using different methodologies, driving the overall technology execution to meet business goals.
- Financial and Stakeholder Management: You will manage project financials and build strong partnerships with change management teams and other stakeholders.
- Planning and Execution: You will plan, organize, monitor, and control projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure successful delivery.
- Communication: You will use your excellent oral and written communication skills to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.
To be successful, you must have a minimum of 7+ years of end-to-end project management experience. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proven ability to drive results. An Agile Certification is required, and experience as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer is preferred. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
