This includes everything from routing and switching to security and wireless. A key technical requirement is proven technical expertise in Cisco software features and functionality. This role specifically seeks someone with a strong background in Routing/Switching, with particular expertise in Cisco Nexus 7k/9k and Catalyst 9k series switches, which are core components of modern data centers and enterprise networks.

A preferred qualification is a professional certification, such as a CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) in Routing/Switching or Data Center. This certification demonstrates an elite level of technical proficiency and is a strong indicator of a candidate’s expertise. The role also values experience in VXLAN (Virtual Extensible LAN), which is essential for building scalable and efficient data center networks.
