The role requires a strong grasp of object-oriented principles to ensure code is maintainable and secure. You will transition legacy logic into <strong>RESTful web services<\/strong>, utilizing <strong>JSON and XML<\/strong> for data exchange and ensuring that all new modules are optimized for a cloud environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bAWS Migration &amp; Serverless<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bA primary responsibility is migrating on-premise applications to <strong>AWS<\/strong>. You will utilize a wide array of AWS resources, including <strong>ECS Fargate<\/strong> for containerized workloads, <strong>Lambda<\/strong> for serverless functions, and <strong>API Gateway<\/strong> for service orchestration. You will also manage data persistence using <strong>RDS (Oracle)<\/strong> and handle asynchronous messaging through <strong>SQS and SNS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bDevSecOps &amp; Observability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bWorking in a fast-paced Agile environment, you will use <strong>GitLab<\/strong> for source control and <strong>Maven<\/strong> for build automation. To ensure high availability and performance, you will analyze logs using <strong>Splunk<\/strong> and monitor data flow performance with <strong>Instana<\/strong>. You will participate in the full Agile lifecycle\u2014from story elaboration in JIRA\/Rally to sprint reviews and retrospectives\u2014ensuring that every deployment meets federal quality standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b<strong>Summary:<\/strong> You are the architect of modularity for federal IT systems.
