You won&#8217;t just be using cloud tools; you will be building them. You will contribute directly to Vultr\u2019s open-source ecosystem, including their <strong>Terraform Provider<\/strong>, <strong>Crossplane<\/strong> integrations, and the <strong>vultr-cli<\/strong>. Your work will involve writing code to manage Vultr\u2019s global footprint of Cloud GPUs, Bare Metal, and Cloud Storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bDeep Kubernetes &amp; Container Internals<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bYou will move beyond high-level orchestration into the internals of the <strong>Kubernetes<\/strong> ecosystem. This includes working with the <strong>kubelet, custom controllers, and CRDs<\/strong>. A key part of the role involves designing integrations for container runtimes like <strong>containerd<\/strong> and <strong>runc<\/strong>, ensuring that OCI images deploy reliably and securely across Vultr&#8217;s 32 global data center locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bNetworking &amp; Load Balancing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bYou will help develop and enhance <strong>Vultr Load Balancers (VLB)<\/strong> and NAT Gateways. This requires a solid understanding of <strong>HAProxy<\/strong>, Envoy, or NGINX, and the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems. You&#8217;ll work on the networking layer (CNI) to ensure high-performance connectivity for thousands of active customers worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b<strong>Summary:<\/strong> You are building the cloud itself.
