You are responsible for the immediate resolution of common technical hurdles while ensuring high-priority system outages are escalated correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bTechnical Problem Solving<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bYou will support a diverse hardware and software stack including desktops, laptops, printers, and servers. Using remote access tools, you will perform diagnostic techniques to resolve issues ranging from password resets to complex network connectivity failures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bDesktop &amp; Virtual Environment Support<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bA significant portion of the role involves troubleshooting the <strong>Microsoft ecosystem<\/strong>. You will support users within <strong>Windows 11<\/strong> and <strong>MS Office<\/strong> environments, with a specific focus on <strong>Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)<\/strong> and <strong>VPN<\/strong> connectivity\u2014critical components for a remote fintech workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bKnowledge Management &amp; Logging<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bYou will follow standardized knowledgebase articles to ensure consistent service. Every interaction is recorded in <strong>ServiceNow<\/strong>, where you will track events, document resolutions, and identify potential improvements to existing IT procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bRequired Qualifications &amp; Competencies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bVelera is looking for a customer-centric &#8220;People Helping People&#8221; advocate with a strong foundational knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience:<\/strong> 1\u20132 years of IT technical support via phone or chat (preferred).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Systems:<\/strong> Proficiency in <strong>Windows 11<\/strong>, <strong>O365<\/strong>, and <strong>ServiceNow<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Certifications:<\/strong> CompTIA <strong>A+<\/strong> or <strong>HDI<\/strong> certification is preferred.
