Unlike a pure SOC analyst role, this is an infrastructure-heavy position where you will design, automate, and maintain the platforms that protect the organization\u2019s mortgage data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Location:<\/strong> 100% Remote.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Salary Range:<\/strong> <strong>$75,000 &#8211; $130,000<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Focus:<\/strong> Design and deployment of SIEM, EDR, and Vulnerability Management systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Tech Core:<\/strong> AWS Cloud, EDR (Crowdstrike), and Email Security (Proofpoint).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Automation Hub:<\/strong> Heavy emphasis on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bKey Responsibilities: Designing and Automating Defense<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe Engineer is responsible for the &#8220;plumbing&#8221; of the security organization\u2014ensuring tools are deployed correctly, updated constantly, and integrated seamlessly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b<strong>Core Security Platform Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will design, deploy, and maintain the full lifecycle of enterprise security platforms. This includes <strong>SIEM<\/strong> for log aggregation, <strong>EDR<\/strong> for endpoint protection, and <strong>Vulnerability Management<\/strong> systems to identify weaknesses. You are responsible for the entire journey: from evaluation and testing to patching and decommissioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b<strong>Automation and DevSecOps<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A major part of this role is moving away from manual configurations. You will use automation tools to deploy security controls and manage infrastructure. The goal is to integrate security tools directly into <strong>CI\/CD pipelines<\/strong> to ensure a &#8220;secure as you build&#8221; environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b<strong>Email and Cloud Security<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will manage <strong>Proofpoint<\/strong> or similar gateways to handle threat detection and <strong>DMARC<\/strong> implementation.
