This role is the <strong>first line of technical support<\/strong> for thousands of developers and requires deep technical skills related to APIs, SDKs, and real-time networking protocols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Location:<\/strong> Remote, U.S. or Remote, Canada.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Compensation:<\/strong> <strong>$120K \u2013 $180K<\/strong> plus Equity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience Required:<\/strong> <strong>2\u20134 years of experience<\/strong> in developer support, technical support, or a customer-facing engineering role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Focus:<\/strong> Triage, diagnosing, reproducing, and resolving complex issues related to real-time audio\/visual networking infrastructure (WebRTC, WebSocket), and collaborating with Engineering and Sales teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bWhat You&#8217;ll Do: Triage, Debugging, and Developer Advocacy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe engineer is expected to quickly unblock developers by providing fast, accurate, and empathetic help, acting as a crucial bridge between the developer community and the product team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>First Point of Contact:<\/strong> Serve as the first point of contact for developer inquiries across support channels (tickets, community, Slack, email).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Triage &amp; Diagnosis:<\/strong> <strong>Triage and prioritize inbound issues<\/strong>, ensuring clear ownership and timely responses. The role requires strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to debugging.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Issue Validation:<\/strong> <strong>Reproduce and validate issues<\/strong> where possible, collecting logs, SDK versions, and environment details. Provide initial troubleshooting or workarounds to unblock customers quickly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Escalation &amp; Documentation:<\/strong> <strong>Escalate more complex issues<\/strong> to internal teams with crisp summaries and context.
