This position involves a mix of installation, commissioning, maintenance, and reactive troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, and IT components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Location:<\/strong> Ellendale, North Dakota (Field-based).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Travel Requirement:<\/strong> Ability to <strong>travel 50% of the time on average<\/strong> (with ability to travel 25\u201375% with little notice in rare cases).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience Required:<\/strong> <strong>Minimum of 5 years of experience<\/strong> in field service or a similar technical support-related position.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>On-Call:<\/strong> Availability to work extended hours, including participation in a <strong>24\/7 on-call rotation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Focus:<\/strong> Installation, startup, preventative, and remedial maintenance on liquid cooling equipment, troubleshooting PLCs, electromechanical systems, and low-voltage electrical components (124\/208VAC and 48V DC).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bDuties and Responsibilities: Commissioning, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe engineer is responsible for the full lifecycle support of liquid cooling systems, ensuring high availability in data center environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Deployment &amp; Commissioning:<\/strong> Participates in system deployment projects, delivering <strong>installation, startup, and\/or commissioning support services<\/strong> within the service area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Reactive &amp; Preventative Support:<\/strong> Responds onsite to dispatches within required SLAs for scheduled and unscheduled service requests (reactive breakdown support and planned maintenance).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Advanced Troubleshooting:<\/strong> Provides onsite support by assisting in <strong>troubleshooting and fault isolation of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electromechanical, networking, cooling, and related systems<\/strong>. Identifies necessary parts for repairs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Technical Documentation:<\/strong> Maintains accurate customer service records\/reports, contributes to the creation of <strong>knowledge articles and technical documentation<\/strong>, and recommends process\/manual improvements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Team Contribution:<\/strong> Contributes to the development of service bulletins and procedures, and serves as a technical resource to sales\/business development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bPosition Qualifications: Electrical, Mechanical, and IT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe successful candidate must possess a strong blend of data center operations experience with specific knowledge of cooling systems and electrical components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience:<\/strong> <strong>Minimum of 5 years of experience<\/strong> in field service. <strong>Prior experience of working within Data Center environments is required.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Troubleshooting:<\/strong> Prior experience <strong>troubleshooting and repairing hardware is required<\/strong> (electromechanical equipment, controllers, sensors, actuators, pumps, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Electrical\/Schematics:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200bExperience <strong>reading mechanical and electrical Schematics<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bExperience working with <strong>124\/208VAC and 48V DC<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>IT\/Diagnosis:<\/strong> Ability to successfully apply technical knowledge to identify root causes.
