This highly travel-intensive role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of Vision RT&#8217;s SGRT product range across the assigned region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Location:<\/strong> Hybrid, must be <strong>based near Houston, Texas<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Region Covered:<\/strong> Texas (with periodic travel to other states for coverage).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Travel Requirement:<\/strong> <strong>Up to 80% travel<\/strong> within the region. Includes evening work and occasional weekends.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Salary Range:<\/strong> <strong>$70,000 &#8211; $90,000 per year<\/strong> (with opportunities for generous overtime and travel pay).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Focus:<\/strong> Electromechanical and IT support (Windows, networking, database troubleshooting) of SGRT solutions, requiring both technical and mechanical installation skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Industry:<\/strong> Medical Devices\/Radiotherapy (ideally).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bThe Role: Installation, Maintenance, and Customer Support<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe Field Service Engineer ensures high-quality service delivery from site preparation through to reactive and planned maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Installation &amp; Setup:<\/strong> <strong>Install, support, and maintain<\/strong> the Vision RT product range. Perform <strong>site surveys<\/strong> ensuring all installation requirements are met. Plan and perform installations in line with Vision RT processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Technical Support:<\/strong> Provide <strong>reactive breakdown support<\/strong> (remote and on-site) and <strong>planned maintenance\/upgrade support<\/strong> (remote and on-site).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Mechanical Skills:<\/strong> Ability to <strong>drill and mount, mechanical bracketry<\/strong> in raised ceilings, and ability to read and work with <strong>technical drawings and architects\u2019 drawings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Liaison:<\/strong> Liaise with customers and internal installers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Travel:<\/strong> Extensive travel to different hospitals throughout the region (Texas) and periodic travel to other states for coverage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bEssential Skills &amp; Experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe ideal candidate blends strong IT troubleshooting with electromechanical field service experience, preferably within the medical domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience:<\/strong> Experienced field engineer with <strong>electromechanical and IT skills<\/strong>, ideally from the medical or IT industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>IT Background:<\/strong><strong>Strong IT background required<\/strong>, including:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200bSupporting <strong>Microsoft environment workstations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Device networking and database troubleshooting.<\/strong> (SQL knowledge preferred).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>PC hardware skills<\/strong> including replacing components and diagnostics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bExcellent <strong>fault-finding skills<\/strong> utilizing Event Viewer, Error Logs, and Debug tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Professional Skills:<\/strong> Highly motivated, <strong>customer-focused<\/strong> engineer with excellent customer-facing and technical problem-solving skills.
