This is a highly technical, remote position operating in a cloud-based, fast-paced environment, requiring strong skills in log analysis, scripting, and modern DevOps tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Location:<\/strong> 100% Remote, must reside within the continental United States.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Contract Details:<\/strong> 1-year contract with possibility of extension.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Security\/Residency:<\/strong> U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder with <strong>3+ years of U.S. residency<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience Required:<\/strong> <strong>2+ years<\/strong> of experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 application or infrastructure support.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Focus:<\/strong> Log analysis, troubleshooting, incident tracking (Salesforce), automation (Python\/TypeScript), and supporting AWS\/Kubernetes\/CI\/CD environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Additional Qualification (Plus):<\/strong> Experience supporting <strong>federal or healthcare IT environments<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bResponsibilities: Cloud Troubleshooting, Automation, and Incident Management<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe engineer will be central to maintaining service availability, analyzing system behavior, and improving support workflows through automation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Support Tiers:<\/strong> Provide <strong>Tier 1 and Tier 2 support<\/strong> for application and infrastructure requests within the VA Lighthouse environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Log Analysis &amp; Escalation:<\/strong> <strong>Analyze pipeline logs<\/strong> to detect issues, troubleshoot problems, and <strong>escalate to appropriate teams<\/strong> when needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Automation:<\/strong> Apply <strong>scripting knowledge (Python, TypeScript)<\/strong> to automate routine tasks and streamline support workflows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Tools &amp; Environment:<\/strong> Support <strong>API integrations<\/strong> and cloud environments, including <strong>AWS and Kubernetes<\/strong>.
