This role involves basic data cleaning, analysis, and reporting, working closely with senior team members and internal customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Location:<\/strong> Remote or Hybrid (Based out of Irvine, CA 92614, USA).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Pay Range:<\/strong> <strong>$65,436 \u2013 $98,982<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience Required:<\/strong> <strong>1\u20132 years<\/strong> of experience with data analysis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Education:<\/strong> College degree, preferably in a quantitative field (equivalent experience accepted).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Focus:<\/strong> Basic data preparation, SQL querying, Power BI\/dashboard assistance, supporting senior analysts, and working with internal customers across the organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bEssential Functions: Support, Analysis, and Reporting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe Data Analyst I works under direction to deliver foundational analysis and support for executive-level decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Data Preparation &amp; Analysis:<\/strong> Performs <strong>basic data cleaning, analysis, and reporting<\/strong> under the direction of manager and\/or senior team members. Analyzes results of collected data using statistical tools and provides ongoing reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Reporting &amp; Dashboards:<\/strong> Assists senior team members with producing <strong>dynamic, meaningful, clear, and informative reports and\/or dashboards<\/strong> using standard business intelligence tools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Stakeholder Support:<\/strong> Works closely with internal customers to build relationships, continuously gaining a deeper understanding of relevant data and processes to build analytical solutions that meet business needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Development Support:<\/strong> May assist with <strong>report development, specification design<\/strong>, and the facilitation of report testing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bRequired Knowledge &amp; Skills<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe position requires foundational knowledge of key analytical tools, particularly SQL and Excel, and familiarity with a statistical programming language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>SQL:<\/strong> <strong>Basic proficiency in SQL required<\/strong> with the ability to retrieve data using SELECT, WHERE, FROM queries and understand basic high-level relational database concepts like joins.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>BI Tools:<\/strong> <strong>Basic Power BI understanding and proficiency<\/strong> is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Programming:<\/strong> <strong>Familiarity with at least one programming language required<\/strong>, such as R, STATA, MATLAB, Python, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Spreadsheets:<\/strong> <strong>Strong Microsoft Excel skills.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Soft Skills:<\/strong> Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
