This role focuses on applying strong business acumen and analytics to uncover fraud patterns, influence business strategy, and rapidly develop mitigation solutions against emerging threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Location:<\/strong> Remote, within the Continental United States.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Expected Pay Range:<\/strong> <strong>$110,000 &#8211; $135,000 per year<\/strong> salaried.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience Required:<\/strong> <strong>2+ years of experience in fraud analytics<\/strong>, ideally within an e-commerce or retail environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Focus:<\/strong> Analyzing large-scale behavioral\/transactional data, SQL\/Python proficiency, statistical modeling, and developing monitoring frameworks to stop fraud.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Environment Preference:<\/strong> Prior experience in a <strong>startup or high-growth environment<\/strong> is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bWhat You&#8217;ll Be Doing: Detection, Strategy, and Mitigation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThis is a high-ownership role where the analyst\u2019s work directly impacts the company&#8217;s bottom line and protects its merchant partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Fraud Pattern Analysis:<\/strong> Analyze large-scale behavioral, transactional, and interaction data to uncover signals indicative of <strong>fraud and abuse<\/strong>. Apply strong business acumen to rapidly identify actionable insights, analyze fraud patterns, and validate hypotheses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Mitigation Development:<\/strong> Respond swiftly to <strong>emerging fraud threats<\/strong> by developing monitoring frameworks, dashboards, and mitigation solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Strategic Influence:<\/strong> <strong>Influence business cases and pricing strategies<\/strong>, and contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives with prospective merchants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Cross-Functional Partnership:<\/strong> Partner closely with leadership, go-to-market, fraud operations, product, and engineering teams to define and execute effective fraud strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Team Culture:<\/strong> Champion a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and collaboration across the fraud and broader data science teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bRequired Qualifications and Technical Skills<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe successful candidate must be a hands-on, proactive, data-obsessed professional proficient in core data science concepts and tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Domain Experience:<\/strong> <strong>2+ years of experience in fraud analytics<\/strong>, ideally within an e-commerce or retail environment.
