The analyst will be on the front lines, focusing on the <strong>detection, analysis, and response<\/strong> to security incidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Location:<\/strong> Remote, United States.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Salary Range:<\/strong> <strong>$75,500.00 to $84,000.00<\/strong> annually.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Schedule:<\/strong> Works a <strong>four-day work week (4&#215;10)<\/strong>, specifically <strong>Wednesday &#8211; Saturday MT from 9 AM to 7 PM<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience:<\/strong> <strong>2\u20133 years<\/strong> in information security operations is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Focus:<\/strong> Incident response, malware analysis, improving detection capabilities, and supporting fraud and insider threat programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bWhat You&#8217;ll Be Doing: Incident Response and Threat Analysis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe analyst will operate advanced security tools, analyze threats, and actively contribute to the defense posture through technical engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Detection &amp; Response:<\/strong> Detect, analyze, and <strong>respond to security events and incidents<\/strong> across multiple domains: <strong>cyber, DLP (Data Loss Prevention), fraud, and privacy functions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Operations:<\/strong> Operate advanced monitoring and investigation tools. <strong>Triage and respond independently to alerts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Threat Analysis:<\/strong> Perform <strong>malware analysis<\/strong> and study <strong>attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Improvement:<\/strong> <strong>Improve detection rules and reduce false positives<\/strong> through <strong>purple team engagements<\/strong> (collaborating with red and blue teams).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Documentation &amp; Mentorship:<\/strong> Document incidents, provide reports, and collaborate across teams. <strong>Mentor junior analysts<\/strong> and support insider threat and fraud prevention programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Threat Intelligence:<\/strong> Stay ahead of emerging threats and industry trends.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bRequired Qualifications and Success Factors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe successful candidate needs hands-on experience in security operations, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to continuous learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience:<\/strong> <strong>2\u20133 years<\/strong> in information security operations with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s degree in Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Skills:<\/strong> Ability to triage and respond <strong>independently<\/strong> to alerts.
