The role is critical for driving technical experience, providing advanced support to the Field Service team, developing training, and managing customer escalations during a period of rapid company growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Location:<\/strong> Fully Remote (Reports to HQ in Houston, TX).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Travel:<\/strong> Ability to travel <strong>extensively throughout the US (~75%)<\/strong> and internationally.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience:<\/strong> <strong>Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience<\/strong> servicing MI imaging systems (preferably in a national or regional specialist role).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Education:<\/strong> BSEE or equivalent degree.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Focus:<\/strong> Advanced technical support for Field Service Engineers (FSEs) and customers (remote\/on-site), developing\/delivering technical training, triage\/closing customer escalations, and improving first-time-fix rates for PET\/CT systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200b&#x1f4bb; Duties &amp; Responsibilities: Support, Training, and Escalation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe engineer is a high-level technical expert responsible for system reliability and the competence of the field team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Regional Technical Support:<\/strong> Act as the Regional Support Specialist for <strong>MI (PET\/CT) systems<\/strong>, providing rapid technical support to Customer Service Engineers and Customers, both remote and on-site as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Training &amp; Mentorship:<\/strong> Responsible for developing and delivering <strong>technical service training courses<\/strong> at the Training Center in Houston. Responsible for <strong>technical knowledge transfers to field-based CSOs<\/strong> to drive world-class first-time-fix rates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Escalation Management:<\/strong> Responsible for <strong>triaging, coordinating, managing, and closing customer escalations<\/strong>; working closely with the Field Service and Business Unit teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Liaison &amp; Reporting:<\/strong> Act as a technical interface between the MI Business Unit and the US Field Service organization. Tracking, monitoring, and communicating top reliability and serviceability issues reported by the field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Guidance:<\/strong> Providing guidance on <strong>siting, installations, tooling, and test equipment<\/strong> required for high levels of customer service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200b&#x1f6e0;&#xfe0f; Required Experience and Skills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe role demands deep, practical knowledge of medical imaging diagnostics and a passion for customer service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Domain Experience (5+ years required):<\/strong> Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience servicing <strong>MI imaging systems<\/strong> (preferably in a specialist role).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Technical Depth:<\/strong> Deep understanding of <strong>diagnostic MI in a medical imaging clinical environment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Prior Experience:<\/strong> Field service \/ technical support experience in high tech medical imaging. <strong>CT imaging service experience<\/strong> is a plus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Soft Skills:<\/strong> Totally Customer focused with a passion for solving customer problems, and committed to providing excellent customer satisfaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u200bThis is a full-time, Fully Remote Regional Support Engineer role at United Imaging, a global medical device developer.
