The engineer acts as the <strong>Archiving Expert<\/strong> for new clients, driving the creation of a comprehensive archive scoping roadmap, documenting download instructions for Oracle patches and media, and leading mini archiving projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Location:<\/strong> Remote, United States.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience:<\/strong> <strong>5+ years<\/strong> relevant technical experience working with Oracle products (<strong>EBS, Middleware, Database<\/strong>), with knowledge of maintenance\/patching mechanics for ERP architecture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Focus:<\/strong> Onboarding support, scoping archived software (patches\/media) for compliance, documentation, client-facing consultation, and process improvement for Oracle Technology product lines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Work Requirement:<\/strong> Ability to work <strong>flexible hours<\/strong> to contribute to the 24x7x365 support service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bEssential Duties &amp; Responsibilities: Scoping, Consultation, and Process<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe engineer is the technical authority on client archive content and internal archiving processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Archive Scoping &amp; Consultation:<\/strong> Review new clients\u2019 covered products and use standard processes to help them build an <strong>archive scoping roadmap document<\/strong>. Act as the <strong>Archiving Expert<\/strong> during scoping sessions, creating and presenting the archive document to client technical and financial teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Technical Instruction:<\/strong> Provide a detailed instruction guide to download software patches and media by release and platform for Oracle technology key areas (Database, Developer Tools, Middleware).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Project Leadership:<\/strong> Ability to <strong>run and lead conference calls with customers<\/strong> and lead mini archiving projects from start to finish.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Process Management:<\/strong> Responsible for the improvement, growth, and evolution of the archive process, including process documentation, tracking, and scoping.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Internal Coordination:<\/strong> Work closely with the Archive QA team, Archiving Services team (who perform downloads), Onboarding, and Account Managers to track client progress and validate archive completeness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bRequired Experience and Technical Skills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe role mandates deep knowledge of Oracle\u2019s technical and ERP environments, focusing on maintenance and deployment mechanics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Domain Expertise (5+ years required):<\/strong> Technical experience working with <strong>Oracle products<\/strong> (Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Middleware, Oracle Database).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Technical Knowledge (Mandatory):<\/strong> Knowledge of <strong>software patching, maintenance, upgrading, and installation methodologies<\/strong> for ERP architecture (including Database and Middleware\/Fusion Middleware\/WebLogic).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>ERP Experience (Strong Skills):<\/strong> Strong skills with <strong>Oracle E-Business Suite, Fusion Middleware, JDE, or Siebel<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Soft Skills:<\/strong> Strong <strong>client facing skills<\/strong> with a leadership background, excellent presentation skills, attention to detail, and extreme focus on Client satisfaction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Desired\/Plus:<\/strong> Consulting background, Project management related skills, and knowledge of developer tools (JDeveloper, OBIEE).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u200bThis is a full-time, remote Support Engineer role at Rimini Street, a leading third-party enterprise software support provider.
