The engineer will ensure system reliability and security by managing deployments, performing patch management, and participating in an on-call rotation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Location:<\/strong> Remote (Columbia, SC\/Remote).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience:<\/strong> <strong>4\u20136 years<\/strong> of experience administering the <strong>OutSystems platform<\/strong> (on-prem or cloud-hosted).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Focus:<\/strong> OutSystems platform maintenance, Windows Server administration (AD, DNS, DHCP), patch management, system monitoring, and automating operational tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bResponsibilities: Platform and Server Administration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe engineer acts as a specialist for the OutSystems platform and its supporting Windows infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>OutSystems Platform Management:<\/strong> Administer and support the OutSystems platform, including managing <strong>deployments, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Windows Server Administration:<\/strong> Manage Windows Server environments, including <strong>Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file systems<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Maintenance &amp; Security:<\/strong> Perform <strong>patch management<\/strong>, system updates, and <strong>vulnerability remediation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Monitoring &amp; SLAs:<\/strong> Monitor system and application health, ensuring performance and <strong>uptime SLAs<\/strong> are met.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Automation:<\/strong> Automate operational tasks using <strong>PowerShell or other scripting tools<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Collaboration &amp; On-Call:<\/strong> Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams on upgrades and configuration changes.
