This position requires providing &#8220;white-glove support&#8221; and taking <strong>full ownership<\/strong> of the customer relationship, including managing weekly calls, handling all escalations, and maintaining a proactive approach to satisfaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Location:<\/strong> Remote (Only considering candidates in the <strong>DC area<\/strong> at this time).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Clearance:<\/strong> <strong>US Citizen<\/strong> with the ability to <strong>obtain security clearance<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience:<\/strong> <strong>3+ years<\/strong> of experience in a technical support engineering role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Focus:<\/strong> White-glove technical support, managing customer environments and escalations, Linux system administration, networking troubleshooting, and collaborating with deployment\/engineering teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bResponsibilities: Ownership, Investigation, and Communication<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe DSE operates independently, driving complex issue resolution while managing the strategic technical relationship with the customer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Customer Ownership:<\/strong> Provide <strong>white-glove support<\/strong>, including conducting weekly cadence calls and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and internal teams (Product Management, Technical Account Managers).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Advanced Investigation:<\/strong> Work independently to investigate issues reported by enterprise customers, <strong>reproduce problems<\/strong>, and analyze and resolve complex, high-impact customer problems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Proactive Management:<\/strong> Maintain a proactive approach to customer satisfaction by identifying and resolving concerns or technical roadblocks before they escalate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Visibility &amp; Documentation:<\/strong> Provide visibility into customer status through regular reporting. Document solutions, best practices, and lessons learned to contribute to the internal knowledge base.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Collaboration:<\/strong> Collaborate closely with deployment and engineering teams to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent operational readiness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200bRequired and Preferred Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe role demands strong foundational networking\/Linux skills and domain knowledge in industrial control environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience:<\/strong> <strong>3+ years<\/strong> of experience in a technical support engineering role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Core Technical Skills:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Strong networking knowledge<\/strong> (DNS, DHCP, TCP\/IP, and HTTP).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Linux system administration\/troubleshooting<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bExperience using networking tools (e.g., <strong>Wireshark, tcpdump<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Security\/Domain (Plus):<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Operational Technology (OT) background<\/strong> (highly valuable).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bSecurity experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>General Skills:<\/strong> Strong customer-focused mindset, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and critical thinking abilities to develop strategic, long-term customer relationships.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u200bThis is a full-time Designated Support Engineer (DSE) role at Claroty, a leader in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) protection, specifically supporting Federal customers.
