This role is highly technical, involving hands-on security integration, vulnerability management, and support for critical compliance and disaster recovery activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Location:<\/strong> Remote (Full-time).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Salary Range:<\/strong> $60,000 \u2013 $70,000 (Annual Salary).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Experience:<\/strong> Minimum <strong>2-4 years experience<\/strong> in Cybersecurity technology or a related technology field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Education\/Certification (Preferred):<\/strong> AA or AS degree in a related field. SSCP or CompTIA Security+ certified professionals preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Focus:<\/strong> Security monitoring (SIEM\/SOAR), vulnerability scanning and patching, compliance (ISO 27001\/HiTrust), Public Cloud security (AWS\/GCP), and Incident Response.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b<strong>Duties and Responsibilities: Operations, Compliance, and Cloud<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe analyst manages both daily operational security and critical compliance\/architecture projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Monitoring &amp; Analysis:<\/strong> Daily review of Security Alerts, Security Dashboards, and <strong>SEIM\/SOAR systems<\/strong>. Utilizes troubleshooting tools to review and respond to cyber threats.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Vulnerability &amp; Testing:<\/strong> Participates in hands-on scanning and patching of <strong>Windows\/Linux\/MacOs systems<\/strong> using vulnerability scanning and patch management tools. Performs monthly, quarterly, yearly <strong>Security Pen-testing, Security Scans, and Red Team\/Blue Team engagements<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Compliance &amp; Authorization:<\/strong> Performs in all activities of Certification and Accreditation (C&amp;A) \/ Assessment and Authorization (A&amp;A). Supports the implementation of <strong>ISO 27001 CSF and HiTrust CSF<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Cloud Security:<\/strong> Assists in the Security architecture, design, configuration, and implementation of <strong>AWS\/GCP public cloud<\/strong>, including connectivity, network, and containerization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Incident Response:<\/strong> Acts as a member of the Company <strong>Cyber Incident Response team<\/strong> and assists during all BCP\/DR (Business Continuity \/ Disaster Recovery) activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Automation:<\/strong> Develops scripts\/programs to automate system compliance lockdown processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b<strong>Required Education and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>IT Infrastructure:<\/strong> <strong>Full-stack knowledge of IT infrastructure<\/strong>, from applications &amp; databases to hypervisors and networking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>System Administration:<\/strong> Experience in <strong>Linux\/Windows\/MacOS System Administration<\/strong> and Network\/System Administration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Security Tools:<\/strong> Knowledge\/Experience with <strong>vulnerability scanners and penetration testing tools<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Cloud:<\/strong> <strong>Public Cloud Infrastructure Expertise (GCP, AWS or Azure)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Other Skills:<\/strong> Solid understanding of computer networking, basic understanding of software development\/build processes, <strong>OSINT and Social Engineering skills<\/strong>, and excellent technical writing skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u200bScribeAmerica is seeking an Information Security Analyst to prevent cybersecurity incidents through monitoring, detection, analysis, and response across a multi-platform environment.
