The role involves leveraging professional expertise to help shape how next-generation AI models understand and reason about the field of information security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Location:<\/strong> Remote, United States (Must be a U.S. resident).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Duration:<\/strong> Approximately <strong>3\u20134 weeks<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Commitment:<\/strong> Minimum of <strong>10 hours per week<\/strong> (fully asynchronous and flexible schedule).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Compensation:<\/strong> <strong>$32 \u2013 $46 per hour<\/strong> (potentially higher for exceptional candidates).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Classification:<\/strong> 1099 independent contractor status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b<strong>About the Project: Educating AI<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe contractor will use their professional experience to explain the role of an Information Security Engineer to the AI model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Explain the Profession:<\/strong> Explain the <strong>challenges and skillsets<\/strong> of the job.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Define Excellence:<\/strong> Explain <strong>what excellence looks like<\/strong> in the profession.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Design Content:<\/strong> Design questions related to the occupation of an Information Security Engineer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b<strong>Required Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Professional Experience:<\/strong> <strong>5+ years<\/strong> of full-time work experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Core Security Skills (Experience with):<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200bIdentifying security system weaknesses, such as using <strong>penetration tests<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bCoordinating monitoring of networks or systems for <strong>security breaches or intrusions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bScanning networks using <strong>vulnerability assessment tools<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bDeveloping <strong>response and recovery strategies<\/strong> for security breaches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>General Requirements:<\/strong> Native-level English skills and U.S. residency are mandatory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b<strong>Nice-to-Haves<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200bDeveloping information security standards and best practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bImplementing software tools for security threat detection, prevention, and analysis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bProviding technical support for security products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u200bFixpoint is hiring experienced Information Security Engineers for a research project with a leading AI company.
