The role is focused on managing, maintaining, and reporting on compliance posture using critical DoD tools and security guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Location:<\/strong> Remote, based out of <strong>Radford, VA<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Type:<\/strong> Full-Time (Pending contract award).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Clearance:<\/strong> <strong>Secret (Mandatory).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Required Experience:<\/strong> High School with <strong>9+ years<\/strong> (or commensurate experience) in Cybersecurity and Network Defense related areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Required Certification:<\/strong> <strong>Cybersecurity Certification (e.g., Security+\/CISSP\/etc.)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200b<strong>Key Responsibilities: Compliance Tool Management and Security Auditing<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe administrator\u2019s primary function is to ensure the network is continuously monitored, compliant, and hardened against vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Vulnerability &amp; Compliance:<\/strong> Manage <strong>ACAS infrastructure, configuration, scanning, reporting, and analysis<\/strong> in accordance with the <strong>DISA ACAS Best Practices Guide<\/strong>. Perform <strong>STIG Compliance scanning and reporting<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Endpoint Security:<\/strong> Manage <strong>Army Endpoint Security Solution (AESS) Site Reviewer activities<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Access Management:<\/strong> Manage <strong>DISA Whitelist<\/strong> and <strong>PKI Tokens<\/strong>. Handle in-processing and out-processing tasks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Policy Review:<\/strong> Provide <strong>Ports, Protocols, &amp; Services Management (PPSM) support<\/strong> and <strong>review proposed configuration changes for security impact<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Documentation &amp; Remediation:<\/strong> Participate in SW Assurance reviews to ensure ACAS findings are <strong>remediated or appropriately documented via eMASS POA&amp;M<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200b<strong>Required and Preferred Expertise<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Mandatory Technical Experience:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>ACAS<\/strong> management (infrastructure, configuration, scanning, reporting).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bProficiency in managing <strong>AESS Site Reviewer activities<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bExperience with <strong>DISA Whitelist<\/strong> management and <strong>PKI Token<\/strong> management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bStrong understanding of <strong>DoD STIGs<\/strong> and STIG Compliance scanning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bExperience providing <strong>PPSM support<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Preferred Experience:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200bFamiliarity with <strong>DISA ACAS Best Practices Guide<\/strong> and <strong>NETCOM policies<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bFamiliarity with <strong>DISA Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bExperience with incident response activities and understanding of Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u200bGovCIO is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Network Defense Administrator (Information Assurance Engineer &#8211; Senior) to perform a variety of network defense activities for government operations.
