Must live in or near a preferred state: <strong>Oregon, N. Nevada, Washington, N. California, or Colorado.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Salary Range:<\/strong> Min <strong>$96,000<\/strong> to Max <strong>$155,200<\/strong> annual equivalency (DOE).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Required Experience:<\/strong> <strong>5 years<\/strong> servicing one or more modalities (Ultrasound, CT, <strong>MR<\/strong>, Nuclear, X-Ray\/Vascular), with <strong>in-depth knowledge of two or more products within the specific modality (MR)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Preferred Experience:<\/strong> <strong>7 years<\/strong> servicing modalities, with prior field technical support experience in <strong>Canon Medical Systems in MR<\/strong> being required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Travel:<\/strong> Ability to travel <strong>50% +<\/strong> required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u200b<strong>Key Responsibilities: Mentorship, Quality, and Escalation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bThe engineer balances advanced remote and on-site support with training and compliance\/quality assurance duties across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200b<strong>Level 2\/3 Escalation:<\/strong> Provide <strong>second-level support<\/strong> for complex issues, serving as the technical expert for FSEs and TSSs. Escalate issues to National Technical Support (NTS) per protocol.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Field Support &amp; Training:<\/strong> Provide extensive <strong>on-site and phone support<\/strong> for installation, application, and technical issues. Conduct <strong>on-the-job-training<\/strong> and mentor FSEs to develop regional senior modality experts. Define FSE training needs and recommend actions to zone management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Product Quality &amp; Compliance:<\/strong> Monitor sites with high service calls and conduct site audits. <strong>Review and evaluate systems for image quality and system performance.<\/strong> Work with NTS to ensure <strong>Veterans Administration sites are ready for inspection<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>New Product &amp; FMI Management:<\/strong> Participate in the <strong>installation of new products<\/strong>. Support <strong>Beta testing of Field Maintenance Instructions (FMIs)<\/strong>, monitor their status, and facilitate regional completion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Remote Service Center:<\/strong> May be required to rotate through the Remote Service Center to perform <strong>remote troubleshooting<\/strong> and resolve product problems via phone directly with eligible external customers (FSE dispatch avoidance).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200b<strong>Knowledge Sharing:<\/strong> Ensure region FSEs are fully informed of the latest developments from technical operations calls and internal documentation (SIS).
